You do have a point. i love running low psi, very very nice for tech. not so much for carrying speed on jump trails. but i make up for it in cornering i guess. i'll probably stick to low psi. i have always ridden with it, and it's hard to get used to change.

120? Oh wow... I run 30 tops. it was a very bad landing, actually it formed from a smaller dent i had before.

I cased a jump on the canadian open. It was the one that is right after the part of the trail that goes underneath the banana box.

Oh. Well, mine is still good for another season i think so it dosen't make a differance to me. Needs to be lighter too. Probably could switch to tubless and save quite a bit of weight.

Possibly. like i said, i'm not positive on it, and i kindof doubt it but when i was up in summit i asked some guy if his frame was denting too, so he told me it was the 2010 frame and it has 1.5 lbs more material. like i said, it wasn't announced that i know of from treck, so you can't be too sure.

Ah, awsome. Mine has only had some denting problems, but i wouldn't think of them as problems because they don't seem to get bigger. But i kindof wished it didn't dent so easy. i heard that for the 2010 they added 1.5 lbs of material to the frame, but i don't know for sure if it's true.

I'm a dick. dicks like pussy. Ty for the compliment, it's much appreciated. You don't need to be rude to me. Well, i was a bit rude to you, but still. Reading comments before posting can make you seem ... Nvm, that wouldn't be a nice thing to say.

An average person is 6 feet tall. But he is crouching. but then again he has the bike. so it' still about 6 feet tall. I made this picture because some people don't know how to eye-ball pictures from the pod, so i posted a link to this picture, saying that he goes about 12 feet above the ground give of take 2 feet.

Oh, they didn't cover it under warranty? Or do you think it bent from when your bike rack fell off? That really sucks. I'm thinking of ligthening mine up a bit, but not to the extreme of putting xc / am parts on there. Thinking of tubless, ... Hmm, that's about it. i can't really lighten up anything else without worrying about breaking it. I don't think carbon bars come in 29 inch, correct me if i'm wrong though.

Actually, i am amazed, this is pretty epic. I was posting the picture to be helpful for the peolpe who are confused about how high he is. it's a start to stop "pinkbike feet" or atlease minimise the use of it. i couldn't care less if he was 1 ft or 500 feet above the ground, Because the backflip over that distance is pretty insane.

I do have a life, but i hate peolpe that just make random guesses at height/distance/length, without even putting any though into it.

You also have to take into account that the photo was taken at an angle, and that can make jumps look either bigger or smaller than they really are. Compae theese 2 videos of the exact same launch, different position:

Mesuring tape said 21.5 feet, i guess mine was innacurate. and i'm not talking about where you frame case it. because that is not the landing, it's the case breaker. the case breaker is about 4 feet long. when it starts to slope down (the actual landing) it was 21.5 feet. it is smaller now, i haven't mesured it, but i know the launch was moved closer, and angled up more.

I thought slayers came with domains. I bought a rental slayer from summit, the rear is kindof soft, but i don't mind. it's nice, cranked the bottom out to the max, and had to take alot of rebound off the rear aswell. the forks are too stiff relative to the rear, compared to the way i run my 88, but they're still pretty soft. Don't really notice the difference when riding it because all the different things about the bike make you forget about the suspension. lol

Used or new? Easiest way is to open the fork up, and look at the colour of the spring. White is extra soft, silver is soft, blue is medium, red is harder and black is extra stiff.

Pretty much. It is a pretty huge jump in my opinion. the fact that he is only 12 ft up shows that you have to go pretty f*cking fast to clear it.

I know! Some parent was giving me a hard time for building the ravens dirt jumps too big, saying it's unfair for the people who can't do them, blabbed on for a while. I picked up a shovel and handed it to him. I mean, why the hell would i build pussy jumps. The beginners should get off their couches for once, and build, and get better, and build bigger.

well, the frame is a small actually. and i don't find it big and bulky, right now it weighs 39.5 lbs, and i have downhill tubes in there, and mavic ex 729's, (only in the rear). mostly beefy components. Also i'm one of those skinny people, i weigh 125 lbs... But i wouldn't rate myself as a wannabe, on sunday, i did 10 runs by 12:30, possibly earlier. the 10 runs were a mix of joyride, schleyer, and the canadian open dh. Very fast runs.
